Our upcoming meetings are set out to the right. Moonrise Rotary on April 12, 2022 will be at Ace's on 29th in Superior, WI at 5:30 pm. We will be joined by Mentor Superior's Katie Pease. They have completed an application for a donation, seeking $1,000.00.
April 26, 2022 Moonrise will be at Shamrock Pizza, 5:30 pm. We may have a delegation from Club 40 joining us to talk about the Lake Superior Dragonboat Festival.

INVITATION TO PROJECT SEARCH CONVERSATION
We have been invited to attend "Closing the Gap." This is a community conversation about graduation outcomes for students with disabilities. It is on TUESDAY April 5, 2022 at 6:30 pm at the Superior High School. As a grant partner, our club should attend, hear the impact that our efforts have had on students, and learn what more we can do to ensure these students have opportunities and inclusion in our community.

ROTARIANS VOLUNTEER WITH SENIOR PROJECTS
Four club members volunteered on Tuesday, March 22 to evaluate presentations on senior projects. Each senior at Superior High School is required to complete a career exploration and community service project. The students we evaluated explored careers in museum curating, drug counseling, and siding installation. Volunteer projects included mock trial coaching, Bentleyville, and working with elementary students afterschool. We have been invited to do more evaluations on

RYLA Applications available
Applications for the four RYLA spots are available
on our club's website. Any application must be received no later than April 30, 2022.
Superior ROtary's craft beer and wine event
The noon club's live event is on April 27, 2022 at Barker's Island, 6-9:00 pm. The evening will include appetizers, a live auction, beer and wine. As more details are made available, they will be shared. Their online auction will run from April 25 - May 1. If anyone wants to make a donation to their auction,
you can download the donation form.
District 5580 conference 2022
The in-person tri-district conference has been cancelled. District 5580 is offering
a virtual conference on April 21-22. The conference is free and no one will be taking attendance. Please consider using the link above to find out if there are sessions you might be interested in attending.
